Garage Evolution Step 1: Mount Pegboard

imageThis step didn’t make much difference in the clutter on the garage shelves, but it did expose and organize all the hand tools I’ve collected over the years.  Four hours and $100 later, I now have a mounted pegboard!  Most of the expense came from buying a stud finder and the pegboard pegs.  The pegboard itself was relatively cheap.

Here’s what I used:

  • 4×4 Pegboard
  • 1x3x8 Furring Strips (in hindsight, I could have used 1x2x8)
  • Stud Finder
  • Hand Saw
  • Pegboard Pegs
  • Level
  • Drill
  • Screws
  • Pencil
